Afternoon RGL crew!

This week's featured article is for the Tap On The Line, a cracking Fuller's pub by Kew Gardens tube station - and when I say 'by', I mean you can read the platform indicators while still in the pub so you know exactly how many minutes you have left to finish your half of Chiswick. That's for northbound trains though - you might need a pair of binoculars to read the southbound platform times (for Richmond only), but if you've acquired mutant eyesight powers from a random outbreak of gamma radiation in Sheen you should be fine.

We have a new article for Cristina's restaurant in Barking, which serves both steak and dishes that are not steak. This might make for a boring venn diagram but the prices are reasonable and the mains are well cooked (desserts perhaps best avoided). Make sure to ask the staff if you want the secret Romanian menu!

Pudding Mill Lane DLR station is temporarily closed while it gathers up its skirts and moves to a shiny new location 100m down the road (opening Monday April 28th).

Finally, some closures of a more permanent nature: Parrilladas Del Sur in Walworth, the Garden Ladder pub in Green Lanes and Chuen Cheng Ku at the very bottom of Wardour Street.

Prince of Wales, Cheam, London SM3

This week's featured article is the Prince of Wales, SM3 8QF, a pleasant Good Beer Guide pub in Cheam. Dogs are welcome! Perhaps you have a dog, or like looking at other people's dogs? Then head to Cheam!

New to RGL are Yaki Noodle Bar, a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant close to Barking station, and 28-50 Wine Workshop and Kitchen, a wine bar and restaurant in Marylebone which is very good for impressing your parents.

Closures: Pudding Mill Lane DLR station is temporarily shut due to an exciting swimming competition* happening in Stratford. It should reopen in September, unlike the poor old Idle Hour in Hammersmith, which has permanently closed.

*Apparently some other sports might be happening too.

This week's featured article is Craft Beer Co., EC1N 7TR, a pub focused on craft beer (cask and keg), based in the Hatton Garden area of Clerkenwell. It's run by the people behind Cask in Pimlico, another fine pub if you like your beer.

Craft Beer Co. has 16 handpulls for ale, and 21 keg beer fonts, all dispensing beers from the UK as well as specially-imported beers from Europe and Asia, some of which aren't available anywhere else in the UK.

Recent additions to RGL include the Brownswood, a recently-relaunched pub on the borders of Finsbury Park; the Beauchamp, a pub in Knightsbridge; the Waddon, a pub in, guess where, Waddon; the Tamworth Arms, a pub in Croydon; and Priya, which is not a pub, but a South Indian and Sri Lankan restaurant in Walthamstow.

We also added all the new DLR stations: Star Lane, Abbey Road, Stratford High Street, and Stratford International, though the individual writeups are much less interesting than the DLR category map.

One permanent closure reported: the Railway pub in Mortlake.
