Hiding long blurbs

Update to the below, 20 July 2020: You can now use the new(ish) <details> element for hiding long blurbs instead of our custom <div class="blurb"> thing; see e.g. the Crystal Palace locale page.

To make this work, enclose your blurb like so:

<details>
<summary name="Crystal Palace"></summary>
Several paragraphs about Crystal Palace.
</details>

Original post from July 2017: I've added a thing to let us hide long blurbs on locale/category pages, since although it's good to have this info, it can end up pushing the lists of actual things in the locale quite a long way down the page.

To make this work, enclose your blurb like so:

<div class="blurb">
My very wordy essay on the history of Harefield.
</div>

You can see this in action on the Ickenham locale page, which has a great but long blurb written by [personal profile] katstevens.

Comments welcome!

That reminds me, the Fox & Geese in Ickenham is now a swanky(ish) bar/restaurant called "Home": http://www.hillingdonishere.co.uk/index.php/news/item/518-first-details-revealed-of-ickenham-s-new-home-bar-kitchen-as-it-replaces-fox-and-geese-pub I would not like to be the person responsible for their SEO.

(The blurb hider sounds great to me!)
