This week's featured article is Princess Louise, WC1V 7EP, a Sam Smith's pub in Holborn.

It has an interesting interior, including panelling that creates multiple separate compartments around the bar for extra privacy (and extra difficulty of getting in at peak times). Apparently the gents' toilets are quite a dramatic sight too, though I haven't seen them due to not being allowed in there.

Recent additions to RGL include Mai Sushi, a small Japanese restaurant near the British Library, and the Bun House, a locals' pub on Peckham High Street.

Reported closures are Hog In The Pound just off Oxford Street (probably being turned into shops), Bermondsey Kitchen (turned into José Pizarro's new restaurant, Pizarro), and the Brook in Hammersmith (been taken over by the people behind the Bree Louise, will be reopening this autumn as the Duchess of Cambridge).

This week's featured article is Leong's Legend, W1D 6AX, a small Taiwanese restaurant in Chinatown offering some rather good dim sum. Their xiao long bao are among the best I've had in London.

Recent additions to RGL include the Horseshoe, a craft beer gastropub in Hampstead; the Duke of Edinburgh, a locals' pub in Wood Green; the Pembroke Castle, a pub in Primrose Hill; and the Man of Kent, a locals' pub in Nunhead. It's been quite a pubby week; we also updated our writeup of the Ivy House in Nunhead.

Reported closures are Long Time Cafe in Brockley, Tadim Cafe in Camberwell, and Himalayan Spice in Chiswick.

This week's featured article is Villandry, W1W 5QB, a restaurant, cafe/bar and food shop, all in one premises on Great Portland Street not too far south of the Tube station.

Recent additions to RGL include the Euston Tap near Euston Station (unsurprisingly), the Prince of Wales Feathers near Warren Street Station, the Hobgoblin in New Cross, the Lukin in Fitzrovia, and Khamsa in Brixton.

Reported closures are Dream Taste in Nunhead, the Royal Oak in Wandsworth, Buffet Brazil in Putney, and Burning Bread in Brixton.
