Two of us in Erith in the same week! RGLers truly are intrepid explorers.
One extra-fun part about going to Erith on the train is that it's on those super-loopy Southeastern lines, so (a) you have multiple ways of getting there, and (b) you might end up on one of those trains that insists it's going to terminate at Crayford right up to 5 seconds before the point where it admits it's going to Cannon Street.
