Hello! This week's featured article is the mighty (and very old) Dog and Bull, CR0 1RG pub on Croydon's market street (Surrey Street, that is). It's been given a paint job outside and a bit of refurb inside, so it's not quite the proper old-school Young's it once was, but is still fairly unpretentious, so well worth a visit.
Lots of new entries this week! I added an entry for a new cinema (well new to me; it's been going for a few years now), the Olympic Studios in ridiculously leafy Barnes. There's also a new entry for a Greene King pub in Harrow, The Kingsfield Arms.
Thanks to TfL taking over a bunch of railway lines, we also have new categories for the Cheshunt Line, the Chingford Line, the Enfield Line and the teeny weeny Romford to Upminster Line, all on London Overground, plus the TfL Rail out to Shenfield (which will in time become part of Crossrail).
There are updates (again from me) for Cineworld Wood Green and the Curzon Bloomsbury (renamed from the old Renoir).
Temporary closure for Tufnell Park Station until March 2016, though you'll have been told this a hundred times already if you happen to commute this way.
And there's a closure too of stalwart veggie cafe Orchard on Sicilian Avenue, which is getting poshed up again (I think) by its owners.
Finally, congratulations to RGL colleague
